"Pregnancy in the Covid-19 pandemic - 9 things you need to know" (for RGB printing)
"Pregnancy in the Covid-19 pandemic - 9 things you need to know" (for CYMK printing)
During pregnancy and the rearing period of a newborn baby, it is very important not only to protect the young child from danger, but also to keep the pregnant woman and the mother herself healthy. The outbreak of the Covid-19 coincided with such a period, and many women and their families may be feeling discouraged. However, it cannot be said that sufficient information is being delivered to pregnant women and women who have just given birth, which is not a large number in absolute terms.
Smart119, a company that supplies the Chiba City Fire Department with an emergency information sharing system, has been releasing to the public a series of cartoon-like illustrations that introduce correct knowledge gained in the field of emergency medicine in an easy-to-understand manner since April of this year, when the Covid-19 infection spread in earnest. The series is supervised by a team led by Dr. Taka-aki Nakada, CEO of the company and Professor of Emergency Intensive Care Medicine at Chiba University, and features the latest knowledge in an easy-to-understand format.
This is the eighth edition of the series, and in addition to summarizing the measures that can be taken by pregnant women and newborns based on the opinions of obstetricians and gynecologists, it also objectively explains how risky the Covid-19 is as an infectious disease. In order to have the article widely used in public places such as posters and pamphlets, we have adopted a design and color scheme that conveys the fact that the article is targeted at pregnant women even when viewed from a distance.
Smart119 Inc. was established based on the desire to save many emergency patients by introducing new technology to the field of acute medical care and using flexible and creative ideas, and is a group of specialists including doctors, paramedics, and nurses. For medical professionals and the general public, we will continue to provide easy-to-understand explanations of the correct knowledge gained in the field of emergency medicine, and contribute to a wide range of medical services in Japan.
The Asahi Shimbun (Japanese news paper) used the contents of Smart119 cartoon.
