Smart119 Inc. was established by Dr.Taka-aki Nakada, who specializes in emergency intensive care medicine at Chiba University, a national university corporation, based on his desire to save many emergency patients by introducing new technologies to the field of acute care and by thinking flexibly and creatively.
While we are becoming less and less vigilant about COVID-19, the flu season starts in late summer. Even if you think you have the seasonal flu, you may have COVID-19 with more serious symptoms and should take all possible precautions if you feel you are at risk.
To help you understand the difference between new coronavirus infections and flu, we have compiled materials supervised by Professor Taka-aki Nakada, President of Smart119, who teaches at Chiba University, and Lecturer Toshifumi Taniguchi of the Department of Infectious Diseases, into a manga-style illustration. The materials can be used freely in schools, companies, public institutions, etc., for example by printing them as posters or handouts.
Smart119 is staffed by medical professionals including paramedics, emergency medical technicians and nurses. In the future, Smart119 will continue to provide medical professionals and the general public with easy-to-understand explanations of the correct knowledge gained in the field of emergency medicine, with the aim of contributing to a wide range of medical services in Japan.

(Media Publication) CEO Dr.Nakada appeared on "Saturday Station"

Our CEO, Mr. Nakata, appeared on TV Asahi's "Saturday Station" (every Saturday from 20:54) as the front line of emergency medicine, and commented on the concerns of summer and measures against heat stroke in the COVID-19 pandemic.

As masks are hard on the body, it is necessary to take them off and take a break after checking the surrounding environment and the distance between people
-Babies under the age of two who cannot remove their masks by themselves should not wear them as they may suffocate
-The risk of heat stroke is higher during the rainy season when the body is not accustomed to the heat, and is more common indoors and among the elderly
-When considering the necessity of evacuation in the event of a disaster, it is important to check the hazard map information in advance.
-COVID-19 related depression is an acute stress reaction that can occur in anyone. Self-care and organizational care are two important factors.
