Smart119 manga (Illustrated guide) was published in Funabashi Yomiuri Shimbun.
The Funabashi Yomiuri Shimbun is a mini-comic newspaper distributed to Yomiuri Shimbun subscribers in Funabashi, Narashino, and Kamagaya cities.
We have received a lot of positive feedback, such as "the article about suicide was very informative as the idea of suicide could happen to anyone", "we would like to find out how to print the articles and make use of it ". So, it seems to have been well received.

Our CEO, Dr. Nakada, was interviewed on NHK's "News Watch 9" on Feb. 4, about the critical care beds that are in short supply and how to solve them.
Smart119 has been selected for "SmartCityX" organized by Scrum Ventures.
This program is a global open innovation program in which large companies representing various industries and startups from around the world collaborate to co-create high-value services and applications not only from the perspective of industry and technology, but also from the perspective of consumers, viewing social transformations such as digitization and the Corona disaster as opportunities for positive future change.

Smart119 Inc. is a "Chiba University School of Medicine originated start-up company founded by an active emergency physician". It was established by Professor Taka-aki Nakada of the Department of Emergency and Intensive Care Medicine, Chiba University Graduate School of Medicine.
To change the current 119 (emergency calls in Japan), "Smart119", a system which uses voice recognition and AI has been developed and operated.
In addition to the introduction of the emergency information sharing system, which is a research and development project of the Japan Agency for Medical Development (AMED), at the Chiba City Fire Department, we are also developing and operating ACES, a system for requesting the assembly of emergency doctors, and Smart DR, a system for initial hospital response in times of disaster.
