In the event of a disaster or terrorist attack, medical institutions must urgently convene a large number of medical staff. On the other hand, in the current period of the spread of new coronavirus infections, there is a particular need for measures to prevent cluster infection in hospitals. One of the most effective ways to do this is to manage the health of hospital staff on the front lines of healthcare.

"Staff Health Management Function" of "Smart DR" sends a health report to the staff's e-mail or LINE(freeware app for instant communications) every morning. The staff can report their own temperature, physical condition, attendance, etc. with simple input. The reported information is automatically aggregated and centrally managed by the administrator, and can be used for infection control in the hospital, such as forbidding the calling of staff with fever. It is possible to collect high quality information without much effort. The system is already in trial operation at the Osaka Acute and General Medical Center.

"Smart DR" complies with Business Continuity Planning (BCP), which is required in all hospitals nationwide, and the related technology has been patented (patent registration No. 6166114). The usefulness of the system has been reported as a paper in an overseas medical journal*.

◆To counter the new coronavirus, the daily physical condition of the staff should be managed in total.

In order to have staff report their health status, an email with the URL of a survey form is sent at a fixed time every morning. You can enter your temperature and physical condition for the day, your work status (day shift, night shift, or night shift), and if you need to take a day off, the reason.
